Elvina's impression from the first days spent in Ostrava
My EVS experience in Ostrava started at 3 of November,but I already have a lot of impressions and emotions. Honestly,our trip to the Czech Republic was very difficult because Ostrava is very far from my home( about 3400 km). But when we have seen our coordinator at the train station we forgot about all difficulties:) Then we saw our flat. We were really surprised!So big and beautiful! I didnt expect it.I'm here already 5 days,but these days were full of interesting moments. I met interesting people. All are very friendly! I met our children. After several days I can confidently say:OUR children! They are very positive,cheerful. We danced,did capoeira together. Today I met them on the street,they smiled and hugged me,asked:Jak se mate?) And after this I felt very good all day! I'm very happy to be in Ostrava and work as a volunteer in DCHOO. I hope that my EVS will be incredible experience and I will remember it all my life!
