Horizont

The mission of social activation center Horizont is to support families with minor children in Ostrava - Kunčičky who found themselves in situation that can not handle themselves. In addition, through the activities offered to establish contact with users, strive for social integration and positive change in the way of life of children and youth who find themselves in an unfavorable social situation, prov$ide information, assistance, support and to prevent their social exclusion. The center provides social activation services for families, basic counseling and Horizont Club for children and youth.

The target group is families with minor children or child, facing the difficult social situation, especially if it is a danger situation that could result in threats to children's development and integrity of families, children and young people who found themselves in difficult life situations or She threatened not seek standard forms of assistance and institutionalized care, are vulnerable to socially undesirable phenomena.

Services offered:

• basic social counseling and information service for users - providing the necessary information contributing to solving current problems and increase user competence to solve these problems,
• ensure conditions for a socially acceptable leisure activities,
• educational, motivational activities,
• mediation of contacts with the social (eg, visits to theaters, cinemas, concerts)
• fieldwork, which forms the basic framework of labor needed for the implementation of specific services in order to establish mutual trust and the conditions necessary for developing contacts and providing other services,
• socio-therapeutic activities,
  practice and consolidation of motor, mental and social abilities and skills of the child,
• mediation of contacts with other professional workplace
